New Indian Scout now available

Central Otago Motorcycle Hire have just purchased a new Indian Scout. This comes with saddlebags and pillion equipment so you can tour two-up around the fantastic Central Otago region or further.

Fly to Queenstown, get picked up by us at the airport, then take the Indian Scout to Invercargill, the home of the world’s fastest Indian. Ask us where to find all the Burt Munro related sites.

The Burt Munro Challenge is held in November each year in Invercargill, so book early if you want to take our scout to that.

January 2013 – BMW Updated – R1200GS

Our trusty BMW R1150GS has now been upgraded to an R1200GS. Book now to enjoy riding this iconic adventure bike on the roads and trails of the South Island. It comes with all the standard R1200GS features including switchable ABS and is fitted with a GIVI top box and also side panniers for extra luggage capacity. A great two up adventure tourer ideally suited for New Zealand roads.

The weather and roads are ideal for motorcycling during our season in the South Island – so get a bike and go for it. All of our range is ready to go for the new season.
We have maintained our prices from last year, and have the CRF230s in our fleet for the local Gravel ‘n’ Gold tours – see the tours website link below..
Overseas ratings of motorcycling destinations continually rate New Zealand as one of the best, and Central Otago and the Queenstown Lakes as the “Jewel in the Crown.”
Bookings for the season are flowing in so get in early to ensure you get your choice of bike. Don’t forget we have all the gear from helmets to cordura – so if you don’t want to lug your jacket all over the world we have plenty of top quality gear available.
For those arriving in Queenstown, we do offer a pick up service from your hotel or the airport. Pickups are also available from Wanaka and Alexandra.
